My name is Laurel and this is my husband, Lucas! Being married is one of the most exciting experiences ever. We got married in March of 2020 in the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic...an adventure to say the least! As a bride who's been through the worst of it, I know I can hit every curve ball thrown my way!
A little about me: I love Jesus, belly laughs, Star Wars, and all things full of life! I graduated from Appalachian State University and have a degree in Commercial Photography.
Having a fancy photography degree is definitely one of my selling points, but I didn't learn passion from a textbook or a studio assignment. It took years of exploring camera settings, yearbook club assignments, and photoshoot sleepovers with best friends to develop a love for capturing life.
I believe with my whole heart that life is meant to be lived to the fullest. If you're the one constantly behind the camera, you'll miss the special moments happening right beside you and your loved ones. The Blue Ridge Mountains
We are located in Boone, NC which is nestled in the lovely Blue Ridge Mountains! Lucas was born here and I moved here in 2013 for college. I find something new to explore each week. From tubing to hiking to wading in rivers, we love it all!
My Little Family
In 2021, we welcomed our son Preston into the world. He is the apple of my eye and the joy of my life! He keeps me humble and on my toes. I have a renewed passion for capturing memories now that I experience life through his perspective on the daily.
